Yes, the boards are meant for serving charcuterie.
You do not want to chop or cut directly on the resin. This will cause damage to the resin. If you desire to use the board for chopping or cutting please use the reverse or back side of the board to do so.
No, you will not want to put anything of high heat directly on the resin. This could mar or damage the resin.
No, you do not want to place the board in the dishwasher. This will effect the life of the board and damage the adhesion of resin to the board.
To clean the board you will want to use mild dish soap and rinse with clean water. Dry immediately after washing.
Yes, the boards will need to be oiled when the wood begins to look dry. Rub the board down with mineral oil and wipe away the excess oil that does not penetrate into the board after ten minutes or so.
Mineral oil is the food safe oil of choice.
You can use a micro fiber cloth to wipe and rid the resin of oil.
